DT Post by Robin - Hip Hip Hooray graduate!

Hello, this is Robin from Robin's Creative Cottage with a fun Graduation shape card share. I used two of Kimberly's stamp sets... Sweet Sentiments set #2 and Tiny Tags.

I made this card from scratch using my Silhouette Cameo, and it was easy peasy with all the simple features in the silhouette studio.

With graduation coming up so quickly I wanted to have a few cards to give to my daughters friends, to celebrate their special day.

I love shape cards, but my favorite part of this card is the fun wavy banner!
I stamped the Hip Hip Hooray! from Sweet Sentiments #2 and the word Graduate is from the Tiny Tags stamp set (I masked off the "way to go" so it wouldn't get inked).
I made two score lines on each side of the words then folded them back and forth, added thick mounting tape between each fold to give it some lift.

The graduation hat is from Miss Kate Cuttables. I added a layer of black fun foam to give it a 3-D look, along with orange embroidery floss for the tassel.

Have a great day and thanks so much for visiting today.... feel free to visit my blog for more creative projects...

My Craft Spot Monday Challenge #98 - Ribbon & Twine

Hi everyone!  I hope you had a great weekend!  Are you ready for another fun challenge?

This week's challenge:  Ribbon & Twine
(Use ribbon or twine somewhere on your project)

Now it's time to sit back and enjoy these fun projects from my awesome design team!!:

GiGi

GiGi's get well gift is amazing!  What a fun idea!  I love the cute papers she used and the black stitching really pops!

She tied her gift closed with Black and Cream Ribbon and added a Vintage Cherry twine bow - so pretty!

All of the fun sentiments are from the Get Well Soon stamp set and the Cute Critters stamp set.

Gwen

What a fun shape card!  I love how Gwen wrapped lace and crinkle ribbon (sunshine yellow) around her spool shaped card!  Beautiful!

Gwen added an Olive jute string bow with tulle.  Her tag was cut using the Tiny Tags metal dies and the stamped sentiments are from the Tiny Tags 2 stamp set and the Butterfly Kisses stamp set.

I love how Gwen added her Lacy Banners and bakers twine (Caribbean and Maraschino)  - really cute!  Perfect for a small treat!

Her stamped sentiment is from the Tiny Tags 2 stamp set.

Sherrie

Sherrie's bees are adorable!  What a great shape card!

Love the big eyes!

Sherrie's bow was tied with Caribbean crinkle ribbon and Caribbean bakers twine.  The ticket was made using the Tickets metal dies and stamp set.

Kate

I love the pink and blue turtles!  Kate's embossing is so pretty and I love the kraft in this color combination!

The "Happy Birthday to You!" sentiment on the gift card holder is from the Sweet Sentiments Set #1.  Kate cut her sentiment tag from the Tiny Doilies metal die set and stamped it with a sentiment from the Stamping Around Spring stamp set.  She added Caribbean crinkle ribbon and Strawberry cupcake baker's twine,  So cute!

DT Post by GiGi - Sweet Wishes

Hello everyone! This is GiGi from The Cricut Bug here to share a card that I made. I used My Craft Spot's NEW Ticket Dies, Postage Stamp, and Ticket stamps on this card.

I cut the card base and mats using my Cricut and Elegant Edges. I hand cut around the middle striped band to keep the shape of the card and added a black dotted line around the scallop mat.
The girl is a cut file from SVG Cutting Files and I stamped the face with a Peachy Keen face stamp. I also hand cut the banner from pattern paper and mounted it on pop dots.
The ticket tabs were made with My Craft Spot's Ticket Dies and I stamped the outlines with the Ticket stamp set. The sentiments were stamped using MCS's Postage Stamp stamps and I attached them to the card using a brad.

Thanks so much for stopping in today and have a great weekend!

DT Post by Sherrie - Sugar & Spice

Hi Everyone! This is Sherrie from Sherrie Scraps with Passion to share a baby shower invitation with you using My Craft Spot's Birthday WishesNew ArrivalPostage StampsTickets Stamps stamp sets and the Ticket Metal Die Set.

I started out with kraft paper and layered a green panel on that. I then stamped this cutie pie using PK209-Life is Good Babies stamp set and colored her with copics and framed her out with with kraft paper and popped her onto the green panel. I gave her cute rosy cheeks, freckles and glossy accents to her eyes and added a pink limeade twine bow for her hair.

I stamped the sentiments on the front of the invitation with My Craft Spot's New Arrival stamp set and finished the card with a bow using fun polka dot ribbon. I added a fun ticket tag to the bow using My Craft Spots Tickets Metal DiesTickets Stamp Set and Postage Stamp Set.

The inside part of the invitation is stamped with My Craft Spot Birthday Wishes and the New Arrival stamp set. If you are looking for a quick invitation to quickly mass produce, this is perfect. It went together really quick and turned out super cute!
